Matthew "Hack" Veverka 278E

What's your name, activation number, pledge semester?
Matthew "Hack" Veverka 278E, Spring 2008

What is your favorite Man Law?
Short shorts have been banned… Unless in a participating in a sporting event that demands shorter shorts.

How did you become a Christian?
I grew up going to church, but never really did anything with it. In about eighth grade something was telling me that Christianity is more than something that people do on Sunday, but it's a lifestyle that affects everything. From then until now, I've been working out the details of that.

What did God teach you this summer?
This summer God taught me what it means to live like Jesus and how every single person is important. You don't have to plan out a time when you're going to go evangelize, but try to find all the opportunities that present themselves throughout the day.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Would have depended on which week you asked me.

What is your greatest strength?
Probably breaking things, it's usually not on purpose, but I seem to do it pretty well.

Favorite Bible verse(s)?
Matthew 16:18-19
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

What do you look forward to most in the semester?
The new and exciting ways that God's kingdom is moving at SDSU

What are your personal goals for this semester?
To bring my GPA back up, and have as much fun as I can in the process

If you could be a bug, what kind would you be?
I generally hate bugs, but maybe a really hairy caterpillar would be cool.

Batman or Spiderman?
Spiderman would totally win in a fight, but Batman is way cooler.

Would you rather be steam-rolled feet first or put into a wood chipper feet first, and why?
Steam rolled. Steam rollers generally move really slow, so having every bone slowly crushed does not sound like much fun at all. Wood chipper seems like it would be faster, and I feel like once you got past the feet, it wouldn't be that bad.
