What is Alpha Gamma Omega?
Alpha Gamma Omega is a national fraternity of Christian brothers.
The first chapter, the Alpha chapter, was founded at UCLA in 1927. Since then, 16 chapters have been founded all across the US.
The Epsilon chapter, here at SDSU (originally founded in 1965) was re-founded again in 1979.
The Purposes of the Fraternity:
1.To win others to a saving knowledge of Jesus christ
2. To promote Christian fellowship
3. To present Christian ideals in word and deed
4. To search reverently for the truth
5. To uphold the traditions and ideals of the university
6. And to deepen the spiritual lives of the members

What should I do if I'm thinking of joining?
Come to RUSH!!! Rush is the number one way for you to get to know what Alpha Gamma Omega is all about. The purpose of rush is for guys at SDSU to find out if AGO is something they would want to be a part of. Even if you are not seriously considering joining, still come to rush because we would love to hang out and get to know you anyway.
Also, feel free to come by the house anytime to ask questions and get to know us.
Pray about it! We have seen countless times God direct people toward AGO. Consider the possibility that this is something God wants you to do. It is not for everyone, but many men have been eternally thankful for what this fraternity has meant for them in their lives.
